17 riders and a pillion started on the ride to Dwellingup, a largish group. The increasing numbers of cyclists threatened to have us enmeshed in another major event but fortunately they petered out by the time we had cleared Canning Dam. We lost new Sunday ride participant, Andrew and his daughter at Yule Du Service Station at the top of Armadale Hill but Uno Ian, Nannup Nick, Sophie, Just John, AAA Anthony, Kim, Russell, DFS, Drew, JC, Rainer, JonO, Mark, Firey Ross, Peter Bee and Bozo found conversation at the Byford stop challenging due to the "loud piped Harley's" that preceded us up Nettleton Road.
A pleasant cool run up to Serpentine Dam before a run down the scarp and on to North Dandalup.
A charge up North Spur Road before a break at a packed Blue Wren Cafe in Dwellingup. Ten of us took the Nanga Road/Nanga Brook Road run to Waroona before turning for home with a deviation to Burnside Road at Coolup.
Brilliant bike riding weather and a well behaved group. Thanks to the corner markers, particularly Firey Ross and DFS, and to Peter Bee for managing the extended group.
