Sheepskin covers

Post by geoffcnc »

For all the softies out there, sheepskin seat covers are a good way to ease the long distance PIA (pain in the ass).

There is a company in NSW ( http://www.goodwool.com.au/ ) who custom make for all bikes, and have a list of BMW patterns they make to. Price is about $155 plus $15 freight, and they recognise BMWMCCWA and offer a 10% discount.

I am thinking of getting one for my GS, others may like to look too.

The AirHawk cushion is also very good and I prefer it to sheepskin. I know Chapman Motorcycles sell them or you could order direct from the Airhawkguy in Whyalla SA. Link below.

I ordered a contoured cover from http://www.sheepyhollow.com/. Note they make budget covers as well but I can't comment on them as I have not seen any.
My cover was excellent quality and fitted my K1200S perfectly like a glove. It has not shrunk even though it has been soaked several times in torrential rain.
I asked for expedited delivery by a particular date and the cover was delivered by express post on time.
Highly recommended !!!!
