A ride to Toodyay departed at the same time as the announced ride to Bindoon leaving Bozo to think only a handful of riders were going with him. Two riders were left behind with a third rider waiting at the designated start location also left behind. Eventually a group of four formed on the way to the Airport of Ted, Rainer, His Royal Griceness and Bozo.
The ride went through Helena Vale to Glen Forrest before taking Park Road and Oxley Road to the Parkerville Tavern.

A run along Roland Road and O'Brien Road and we headed to Brigadoon. After a regather at Gingers where a bifocal spectacle lens popped on to the ground giving a new meaning to riding around blind corners.
The Chittering Shire plan to cut access through the Chittering Valley to build two bridges starting in November 2022.

An alternative route was tested consisting of Bonita Road, Jenkins Road, Polinelli Road, Muchea Road East, Powderbark Road and 1500 metres of gravel on Wandena Road. The link back to the Chittering Valley was made on Maddern Road West, Maddern Road South and Blue Plains Road. The alternative was much better than heading up North West Highway.
Three of the group rode through Bindoon to Crest Hill Road, Moolabeenie Road, Wells Glover Road and North West Highway to return to a packed Bindoon Bakehaus.
Whilst parking, a rider expected his reverse movement to be checked by a kerb but he had precisely located a drainage gap that had a steep section of stone pitching into a drainage sump. As his bike descended the steep side of the sump it toppled over on its right hand side trapping his foot under the bike. It took four people to lift the bike as it was balancing on his foot. Fortunately he was wearing strong boots and reported no injury.

We ran into Paul at the Bakehaus who was on his way to Beacon. After rolls, hot cross buns and pies we headed home via Chittering Road with the ride finishing at Bullsbrook. Thanks to His Royal Griceness running as Tail End Charlie. Apologies to those left behind in the confusion of the start of the ride.
