Thursday October 12 MOJOS MUNDARING
Ah Perth Spring weather - can’t beat it. Standard leaving Ascot Gloria Jeans 7:45am to doodle up to MOJOS MUNDARING for a chat and leaving at 9:15am ish to somewhere in the Wheatbelt. Possibly Yerecoin with lunch at Yerecoin Traders but DDD as usual.

Re: Thursday October 12 MOJOS MUNDARING
As expected a perfect day for a spin in wheat/canola country. MMM and Mr Grice joined me at Gloria’s for the run up the scarp to Mojos. Chris (Profoundly Disturbed) arrived at Mojos at the same time as did NNNick and Peter Booth slightly later.
I had proposed a visit to Yerecoin Traders for lunch and no objections received from the present five so off we went.
Through Stoneville, Mt Helena, Chidlow and Liberton, Needham onto Mayo to Toodyay Rd. Fernie, Salt Valley, Sandplain and River Rd. Julimar lead us onto Coondle West and the Bindi Bindi -Toodyay Rd. Through sleepy Bolgart and Calingiri to the sleepier Yerecoin.
But the Yerecoin Traders were open and happy to see us. I saw, toasted Sammie’s, hamburgers, cakes, etc plus drinks all happily consumed with positive responses. With locals calling in it seemed a steady business.
Back to Calingiri for the Chris’s and Peter to refuel. The Chris’s went their own route whilst the remaining four took the turn to Goomalling where Peter left the three of us to head towards Meckering. We took a break in the wheat paddocks to absorb the surroundings. Very relaxing.
Why trudge down the GEH when Quellington was begging? So onto Quellington and onto the Northam Rd with a diversion onto Burgess Siding and the Spencer Brook Rd. Fuel up for MMM at Bakers Hill and Coates to glide through Wundowie and Wooroloo, Chidlow, Mt Helena and Stoneville, Parkerville and the ride finished in JF National Park.
Thanks to all for a great 450km ride with special thanks for some leading and TEC duties by NNNick.
Another very satisfying Thursday ride with no issues and only joy to be out on the Beemers in this great State.

Yes, a sensational days riding again with fabulous ride leadership skills by Peter B and TEC and leader duties by Mr Nick. Thank you all for a great day out. Nearly 490km for me today. Pillow is looking good
