Change of club Breakfast Discussion!!

Hi All, I have welcomed the intervention of the Club Committee in the discussion about seeking an alternative venue for Sunday Breakfast.

As a result of that intervention I have been offered by the Committee a chance to air my point of view at the next Annual General Meeting on Monday the 10th March 2025 at 7.30 PM.

For those of you not on Facebook the discussion became quite heated with accusations of attempts to split and divide this club made to me!!

I have had two long term members I once considered close friends inform me they no longer wish to be associated with me!

I have taken up the offer made by the club and I will be there on the 10th of March in an attempt to clarify my point of view and clear the air for once and for all!

I therefore welcome and encourage as many club members as possible to attend that General Meeting.

Hmm, I don’t think anybody is questioning your suitability and I dont think ‘judging’ is the right way to go about things. Go to the meeting, put your point across and cop the outcome on the chin (whichever way it goes). Resigning membership seems like an extreme measure that you and you alone should decide. It seems a bit of an overreaction.
