Yes, it's a unique and novel experience and rates highly on the 'street cred' status list, but it's not all that it's made out to be.
It's a lot more pleasant watching the cricket with a cold beer...

This is one injury that is for the the long haul. No quick fixes here. You will still have issues when you get to 30,oops,40,oops, 50 oops, how old are you young fella.
The problem will be for the rest of you life I'm afraid. Good thing you have a light bike to pick up and not the 'Beast of burden "
"Street Cred" you had it before this. Good thing about the injury at least, we didn't need to visit you in the spinal ward.
Good thing about this fellas, we now have someone to drive the support vehicle. This way Ben can keep an eye on his bikes.
Maybe you could ride a quad bike, low to the ground, no need to pick them up just roll them over, can carry our beer, soft seat.

Oh, by the way. Good to here you are getting better :P
Most problems can be solved with a suitable application of throttle!
Bitumen is a tool, to get you to the dirt.

well with that time frame perhaps you can do the Desert Raid in the Nissan as support, could make a fortune if you had cold beer on board
