NOVEMBER TUNING DAY

Post by bully1 »

Due to the paramedic day on the 26th, the advertised tuning day on the 19th won't be going ahead.

If you need anything then come along on the 26th and we'll look at it after the Paramedics have finished.

Hey Bully,
any farewell ritual planned for the GS? (other than crying into one's beer) (not allowed)

gotta sell it first, then I suppose I'll shed a tear, drink some beer, and stare wistfully at the empty space in the shed, and then drink more beer. 8)

Rear Brake Caliper Kit

Post by Digger »

Bought myself a project bike...a 1991 XT600 Yamaha (ex Army). 1 careful owner....and 10 who didn't give a s@*^. $1,600. Bargain. Needs a kit put thru the rear caliper. Caliper piston was siezed and was able to remove that using CRC and air pressure (thank you YouTube!!!). Will bring it along as i am not sure how to remove old seal (looks straightforward but will use the expertise of the club).
