Having continual leg pain and whinging to Doris since I got home on Sat. I decided today to get my leg x-rayed.We can now add "fractured Fibula: to top off the virgin dirt experience. Can't wait to go for a ride with Mike when its healed

Seems like JP has started a craze in busted legs, hope your not out of the saddle for too long.

Well, are you sure you weren't riding with JP. Talk to JP about this issue. can you please remove me from you email list. I can,t handle 2 people with broken legs emailing because they are bored.
Ken has got alot to answer for.
Hope to see you at the Xmas dinner. JP will give you lift there as it may take the heat off him.

That's not good news BIll - I am assuming at least your riding partner showed some interest in your welfare?

So don't let the fact that you will be in a cast for at least a couple of weeks and then at least a moon boot or similar for 5 weeks dampen your spirits
It's a great opportunity to catch up on all of those small jobs you have been putting off like your tax returns, getting all the cobwebs off the cornices, rearranging your golf bag ready for when you can walk again, etc.

I appreciate Ken's effort with my intro to dirt riding, he was the complete dirt guru at all all times. When I came off going up the gravel mountain with huge deep water ruts and soft gravel we did stop before we took off to discus the idea of trying it out. I reckoned if Ken could do it I could also. He seemed to just fly up there so anyway the rest is history and I don't put any blame at all on my riding partner who I am sure I will venture forth with again. Ken I wouldn't mind seeing the other photos you took

We do this sport at our own risk, but it's nice to blame someone else ( Ken).
