Over dinner on Saturday, I asked Jonas to contact the R&D department of BMW for them to develop a 'Moon-Boot" adapter. This would be an after market accessory that they could market to GS riders in the event of an injury, so there would be no need to miss out riding the beloved GS and suffer the associated "withdrawal" symptoms. Otherwise known as "the GS Blues"
Just keep getting back on (whilst off work sick, so as not to miss out on any joyful occasions).

*Size could be adjustable, or custom fit (depending on your budget).

**Colour matched to suit your bike.

***Magnetic so as not to become detached from bike whilst in forward (not sideways) motion.

****Plugged into the grip warmers for those colder days in the saddle.

In fact, Auto Classic should get some in, so they cant rent them out (like hospitals do with crutch's and wheelchairs) so when you're healed up, some other victim (sorry patient) can use them.

What'ya think? 8)

Sounds like you have already pre-ordered it. Comes standard with a R1200gs.
Most problems can be solved with a suitable application of throttle!
Bitumen is a tool, to get you to the dirt.

Don't tempt providence.......

You'll put the mockers on me...........

However, apparently we have some offroad "experts", only too willing to teach and instruct us lesser mortals through imparting the art of "Zen on a GS".

Looking forward to some "training by the old dogs" so as not to become a member of the "Moonboot Club: !!

Hey JP, can I borrow your training wheels? 8)

Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
