A mass ride, at 10 kmph through Kings Park, would be appropriate, I imagine. Bikes can get parking too, very easily there.

What is "Veterans Day"? In Russia May 9 "Victory Day over Hitler." There will be a military parade on Red Square near the Kremlin.

ANZAC Day. Being an old digger I got up at 0400hrs to attend the local Dawn Service with my wife.

Hundreds of people attended, A fantastic turnout which has grown from year to year.An excellent service was performed by the local RSL.

Returned home, Packed my wife off to work and than went for a very pleasent ride through the hills to Dwellingup and return on my GS.

Returned home in time for wife to come home from work and prepare our lunch :P

I thank all our "Diggers" who served in the 1st and 2nd World Wars and those served and are still serving in the numerous other conflicts since for giving me the freedom to enjoy all of what I did this morning and for all the days that follow!

"I love a sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains.
Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
