Following on from last Sundays brilliant ride I will be meeting Davey_Sprocket in Toodyay at The Cola Cafe around 10am for a 10.30 departure. The ride will head north through Calingiri then left onto the Waddington-Wongan Hills Rd and on into Moora.
From Moora we will take the Dundaragan Rd for aprox 38kms. turning right onto Badgingarra Rd. After 15kms. we will turn left onto Koonah Road, from here we will head into Cervantes.
The return journey will be along The Indian Ocean Drive with a few scienic detours along the way including Moore River from Barragoon Road .
Approx 450kms. from Toodyay.
If you are interested Sprocket will leave Catalano's at 8.50am prompt for Toodyay, or you could meet us at Cola Cafe at 10am.
See you there

I will join Sprocket for the run to Toodyay and have coffee with you there, before catcvhing up with friends in Toodyay and returning home. I will take R1100RT for a spin.
Won't bother with 'cato's' !
Instead, I'll wait at Gingers Road house (Gull Servo) Great Northern Highway, Upper Swan.
LEAVE at 8:30am. If anyone wants to 'tag on'
to meet up with DFS at the Coka Cola cafe.
why go to Gingers to get to Toodyay when the quickest way is straight up Toodyay rd, I'd meet at the Caltex on Toodyay rd bottom of Red Hill in Stratton. I reckon you'll be very lonely at Gingers. If you are waiting for Sprocket man that's the place to be, If he leaves Cat's at 8.50 then he'll need to push the Sprocket rocket to get to Toodyay by 10
Thanks for the invite DFS, 5 riders went to Toodyay in cookies usual guided tour manner, finding Nigel waiting, DFS, Swampy Mark and Dawn not far behind, all coming from different directions. after refreshments we headed to Calingiri where I turned off with Bozo Mark and Dawn, to head for New Norcia and home, DFS and followers continued north from Calingiri.
Great day out, despite the threat of rain, thank you all for the company along the way.
Thanks for carefully constructed "roundabout " way to Toodyay following the reassuring glow of a tailight framed by panniers somewhere in the gloom ahead.
Very pleasant when the rain stopped.
I noted that Nigel has such an affection for dirt he just rides the gravel shoulders of bitumen roads...a bit disconcerting when he suddenly exits stage left.
We must have been travelling slowly because Tom seemed to be able to pass everyone, take photos and then catch up
Great wide open roads and sweeping bends on the northern Calingiri to New Norcia Road were very enjoyable.
I expect that DFS, DS (DR) no bar, UA, TM and Swam P are still out there with the rest of the "Far Riders" getting Prince Leonard to stamp their passports.
