Hi all,
Going back to the coffee we had on Saturday morning at Farrels's. A rider information document format was introduced to be used on all rides. Maybe we can add the following to the required information:
Medical Insurance - Company Name (some of us do not have St. Johns)
Medical Insurance Number
Blood Group
Allergies
I know this might make the list longer but you can never have enough information should things go wrong out there.
Regards,
Jan

Re: Rider Information
Thanks Jan. Below is the text I was intending to post as soon as I am able to attach attachments, but as you have replied with feedback on Form changes I will post it now. I note your suggestions and will compile all suggestions and submit for discussion at the next meeting.Strekkie wrote:

Dear All
At the last meeting it was discussed that we should be more vigilant in ensuring that whilst on club rides, that the group who departed together remain together, and that participants in club rides should have contact phone numbers and emergency contact details for each rider participating in the ride. I have put together a simple form (which I an currently unable to attach although I did hand out a few last Sunday) that I suggest be used as a starting point for open discussion on the subject. The form is not static, so please provide suggestions for alterations, format changes etc etc.
Noel
Re: Rider Information
Another option is simply to add it to an "ICE" listing (In Case of Emergency) on your mobile phone....
