That's a really good idea Cookie, I'll ask the boss; reckon maybe make it a shine event only. If (heavy rain) is forecast maybe putoff? Please don't go alone; I've heard that you don't carry enough fuel to get you to Norseman! John

Re: Long Weekend camp out
Hello fellow riders
We have decided to meander South, then Southwest and end up near the coast, South of Margaret River at Contos Field off Conto / Caves road, to camp the night.
We will meet at 9.15 for a 9.30am departure Saturday, at the Bakery on George Street, Byford (just North of Abernethy Road, between the railway and Southwest hwy).
The ride will be mainly black top, however there are many dirt ways to deviate if you want to tag along, or meet us there.

Re: Long Weekend camp out
We had a great run out of town yesterday, cold in patches, a few coffee stops, reached destination and setup at Conto's field before dark. Today we made our way South East before saying goodbye to Steve, as he headed for the Stirling Ranges, Ken, Toni and I turned North arriving home late afternoon, having covered a little over 1000km.
Traffic on country roads was minimal and made for a very pleasant ride.
