I have had a couple of claims with my insurer and am trying to stay under their radar until i get back in their good books. If the creep doesn't come good within a couple of weeks i'll hand the problem over to them.

He has recieved the quote by registered mail. One of three things will happen; he will send me a cheque as requested, he will contact me and question the quote and organise his own assessor (unlikely), or he will do nothing in which case i will hand the matter over to my insurer. i replaced the mirror glass and i have a 'spare' valve cover protector so the bike is back on the road. It is the XT's turn for a run tomorrow so the GSA is just parked up for now. 8) 8)
