Day ride Thursday 27th December

Post by Cookie »

Cookie is hatching a plan to go out for the day on Thursday 27th, waiting for weather update before locking in details, hoping to take a leisurely ride - heading off around 8am and returning before dark.

Checkin later in week for an update.

I hope you have a great Christmas and I look forward to an even better 2013, packed with rides.
Regards

Good morning to All

Mother Nature is messing with my plans, now thinking meet at Entrance to Kings Park - Fraser Avenue, Perth at 6.45am ready for a 7am departure.

Coffee stop along the way and wrap up at Hillarys late Morning.

Check in later for update.

Just watched the forecast, not very inspiring, planning to meet at Fraser Avenue entrance to Kings Park at 6.45am for 7am departure, head for North Dandalup to meet up with Goldie. Goldie will guide us into Seascapes (Mandurah) for morning tea, before heading home along the coast.

Don't forget to bring your water bottles / camel baks.

Thanks Goldie, Rainer and Swampy

Flowing ride through Kings Park, quiet back roads to Dardanup, before following Goldie out to Dwellingup, Nanga, Warroona, Pinjarra and into Mandurah for morning tea.

Morning temperatures in mid twenties, quickly became mid to high thirties for the trip home.

A touch over 300km for the return trip, a good day out and great fellowship.

Cookie

Would that be North Dandalup rather than Dardanup?

Your right of course Bozo, But yes a good ride through the hills where the Easterlies and trees kept the temperatures down for a cool pleasent ride. 8)

Thanks for the ride and company guys and WE even did a touch of "DIRT" riding until Goldies bike got a little unsettled by some rather large undulations

Bike temp showed 40C on the way home on the flat but a good morning was had anyway :P

So where were the so called "Hard Core" riders than??????????

Swampy
