I am planning a ride for Wednesday 20th February, leaving Auto Classic at 7:30pm. Current thoughts are to loop through Lesmurdie, Kalamunda, stop at the Zig Zag lookout for a view of the city lights. Then down the Zig Zag through Helena Valley and end up at Alfred’s Kitchen Guildford. Route planned is about 40Km, expect to arrive Guildford at about 9:00pm. A later start than Cookies run is to allow those that work to have time to meet us at the start.

Re: MidWeek Night Ride
Decided to give the Honda a night run.
5 of us started out from Classics. Bit of a hold up on the road on the way out, but easily skirted, don't know what the traffic people were up to, but I can assure you that it wasn't much...
Congrats to Brian/5 for a well organized night ride up to the Zig Zag and back to the burger joint. It ran like a well oiled machine. Can't believe that the Midland Hospital is up 3 floors or more. Seem to remember a year ago, it was just a flat cleared block of land.
'Twas much cooler in the higher altitudes, and the scenery was fantastic, what with the city lights and lightning all around. No rain to speak of, just the occasional tease. Stopped on a couple occasions for some night photography. Will post later.
Will definitely go back up there and spend more time on the photo opportunities.

Re: MidWeek Night Ride
Good job Brian
A most enjoyable sortie through the road works, climb a few hills, zig zag down, poor old RT got tired and had a lay down, but quickly back of her feet with some assistance from Noel, before a leisurely run into Guildford
