I will drop in.

Not able to prepare the bike for the border run because its sitting in Brisbane.

Should borrow a soldering iron to make up a set of jumper leads to take advantage of the two batteries on the noddy bike.

Are you casting bait again to promote the tuning day....dentists, engineers

You could at least wait until Ed paid his subscription before getting stuck into vertically challenged members.
Never Mind Chris, I guess I will NEVER measure up

Good tuning day guys. Lots of activities including:
Traffic indicator repairs and rear wheel removal/ replacement to Jamies's DR (thanks go to Bry). Jamie to replace cracked and perished fuel line and replace fuel filters. 8)
Fixed bent crashbars on Rainers GSA.
Bully farkled with the PD including a nice LED voltmeter and reminded me to bring the jump leads ( rating unknown and who cares) 8) to the border just in case his battery Karks it.
Herman fossicked around on the 650GS and is looking for some spare parts.
Boze put together a splended set of jump leads in preparation for his trip over to collect the noddy bike (ex plod RT)

John Wightman discussed the Border Run with a few others,
Bystanders included Swamp R1200SP, (whom should be posting up photos soon, thanks to Shane's tutorial) JonO, Cookie, me and some other lurkers. Apologies if I've missed anyone.

Many thanks to Mrs. Bry (Sorry forgot name) for standing in on the bbq.

Bozo, I am a paid up member. Vertically Challenged? That's a good one. Ha ha if you only could have seen me after an epic lunch on Friday. Somehow I found myself lying on a low hedge looking at stars! Took a hell of a struggle to right the ship. Never again. Cheers, Ed

Great turn-up yesterday, lots going on. Thanks to the chefs who were called in after Lefty had a prior engagement and the next volunteer was a bit tardy.

good to see some new faces show up and of course lots of old ones, much discussion about the Border Run and the Desert Raid.

Jamie looks all set for DQB or as close as he can get, as are a few others. Would you believe that Steve Bly has put some "new "ish tyres on the GSA, I would have thought that he still had a couple of though on his old ones.

I got a lhs crash bar fitted, new footpegs and a voltage checker installed, test fitted the luggage carrying potential to the PD, John W showed up on a travelling slideshow and Rainer tried to repair some damage from a slight oooppppsssee, Davey showed up after wearing out the only "tits " he's seen in a while ( on his tyres, you dirty old men ).
