You never never know unless you apply. I applied on spec for the Ewan Mcgregor film - direct to the producer, next think I know I have the assistant producer on the phone, the rest is history. Look out for me in the pole dancing club scene next year his film "Son of a Gun", yes really...

From my extra experience this year - its very tough work, long hours and shite pay.
Like lots of things in life perhaps its better to keep the dream rather than testing the reality and being disappointed.
