Thanks Koos for a great ride, and thanks to all attendees.
Thanks also to Dave and Swampy for your concern about my back.
I strained back muscles Thursday night, had acupuncture Friday, and took the day off work. It was ok (sort of) Saturday, and not too bad Sunday Morning on the ride.
It wasn't until I was walking in Toodyay that it started playing up again.
I couldn't get my foot down quick enough on the camber at The Lakes, and had no strength to hold her up.
There is a very small gaze on the "fender"
Thanks again for you concern

K-series 30 Yr Birthday Ride - Flying Bricks & Brickettes
Re: K-series 30 Yr Birthday Ride - Flying Bricks & Brickette
We tried to get some fuel consumptions to compare performances. Our first hurdle was discovering that Koos' K75 odo underreads, so Checked with Brian/5's GPS. The results were as follows: If any others of you have fuel readings to compare, throw in your two bobs worth
1. Brian /5 1200GS 4.9 l/100
2. Bozo 1200 cop bike 5.2 l/100
3. Koos K75 (grey mare) 5.4 l/100
4. John K100 (red rocket) 5.6 l/100

Imagine what it would have been like if you lost a few kilos Davey?Davey_sprockeT wrote:1. Brian /5 1200GS 4.9 l/100

PS. I did'nt take an accurate reading as I filled refilled early and had forgotten to record it, But reckon approx. 5 l/100 for my GS.

OK Ed also claimed that I was going a bit "quick" at some stage. The Grey Mare's speedo certainly wasn't giving me that indication? Anyone else think that my speedo is a bit slow?Davey_sprockeT wrote:1. Brian /5 1200GS 4.9 l/100

I used 277 Km's. If I use 300 km's, consumption is 4.8 and if I use 290 Kim's, consumption is 5 l/100 km.
Interesting hey.......
John.....is it the Red Charger or the Red Rocket? We know its red.......
