Saints Diner, York

We were in York today and noticed that Saints has closed.
A quick Google tells me that the proprieters wife is very ill and are returning to the UK.
Can anyone confirm or deny?
Would be a pity to lose it under such circumstances.

We stopped there on the way to the Camp Cook off and back and all seemed fine. Would be a real pity. They were nice people and gave it a real go when coming to Australia.

Simon and Heather put the joint up for sale nearly two years ago after Simon renounced his Australian citizenship due to the ongoing blues with the Shire.

Their plan was always to go back to the UK - God help them!
