Re: Brookton Old Time Motor Show.
This could make for a good overnight ride. 2 groups one dirt one black top meet at Brookton and then head to a camp ground yet to be identified, ie Dryandra or similar. Any interest ?

Re: Brookton Old Time Motor Show.
What a Rip Off, I am disgusted with Brookton Council for the exorbitant prices they require for admittance to the Brookton Old Time Motor Show.
I have attended many of these shows over the years and have always enjoyed the displays of old vehicles and steam driven machinary in particular.
I will not attend another one.
Years ago anyone wishing to display an old vehicle was admitted free of charge. Now they charge $10.00 per display item plus $15.00 per person traveling with you. I know people who used to display WW2 Military machines who now refuse to attend as a result of these charges.
Visitors are now also being charged $15.00 per head admittance with no concessions.
In the past anyone wishing wishing to flog food to the crowds were permitted with a wide variety of foods been made available at reasonable charges given the venue.
NOW, The Brookton council is the sole provider of any refreshments which has resulted in exorbitant prices being paid for pretty basic snacks, IE Hot Dogs with a queue that normally extends for close to a 50 metres long for the "ONE" outlet catering for hundreds of people with the resulting incredibly long delays.
A Once Great Motor and Machinary show has now been completely monopolised, controlled and ruined by a greedy council.
NEVER AGAIN...............IT'S Disgusting

Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
