The Club has in the past spoken about the merits of members wearing name tags especially whilst attending Cat's on a Sunday for ease of identification.

Especially as some club members only attend this function infrequently and it can be a struggle to remember peoples names/nicknames at times especially for old codgers like me

As it appears that no one has persued this matter I took it upon myself to have a name tag made for myself recently ( Mainly so I could remind myself who I was when required )

I wore it at Cat's this morning and another member thought the idea was good enough to request me to get one made for him.

If the Club approves and any other member is interested please let me know and I will arrange to get some made for them.

The name tag is made of plastic of a silver appearence with a black border. BMW Club of WA is engraved in black with the idividuals choice of Name/Nickname engraved in Bold beneath it,

The cost is $16.00 per tag.

My contact details are in the Members Only section.

Regards Swampy

Hmmm...

Occasionally I come to Cat's with a name tag, doesn't seem to make people want to talk to me?

I went down to brekkie this morning, I could only talk to Swampy, he was the only one with a name tag on !!!!!

Going to be a new club rule...no name tag NO RIDE !!

All those years of introducing myself to others , gone, I can't remember my own name.

Bully

I thought it was mandatory for those with a bovine connection to have an ear tag to monitor movement. Particularly those that cross state borders.

Surely your ear tag number could be your ID.
