R1100RS

Post by Raineman »

I have a lovely R1100RS with which I am having an indecent affair with.
I would like to treat her this Vanetine's Day to a sports exhaust or a top box.
Can anyone help with some advice on where to obtain reasonably cheap (think Scotsman) bits?

Sports exhausts need to reapce the catalytic converter as the original system is a one piece (she does look nice in a one piece, but hey.....)

The top box needs some support brackets (made of Unobtainium Alloy).

Any help much appreciated

I think having short arms and long pockets and trying to purchase cheap exhausts or top boxes for BMW motorcycles is an oxymoron??? Sorry can't be of much assistance with cheaper products, although Staintune, Hattech, Remus, ZTecknic are a few names that spring to mind on the exhausts and Touratech you could try for top boxes.

Cheers

Hepco Becker make a range of top boxes and support bracket/racks to adapt them to most the Beemer models. They're reasonably priced (read, cheaper than OEM or Touratech) and available locally at Munich's.

Bill................;-)
