MECHANIC NOR?

Post by Galahguy »

Hi-just bought an '03 R1150RT. Rode it home fine & parked it for a week now can't get it started. It seems to be a battery problem but I'm not sure. Can anyone please recommend a mechanic who's based NOR? I am trying to get a trickle charger that fits the on-board socket but have had no luck there either. Can anyone help with that also? Cheers, David

David
Can't help with the mechanic but if still standard then the socket is a Merit. Plugs are available form Jaycar PP2090 $6.
Also available is merit plug to cigarette lighter socket PP2099 $13. May also be available from other general auto parts shops.

G’day David, quite happy to lend you a trickle charger with BM plug if thats any help, I am at Hyden but coming over to the coast tomorrow morning, or I could drop it in an Express parcel post. Give me a ring on 0409 615976 if I can help. I had an 1100RT for 14 years and one of the first things I did was put a sealed battery in it, they really are a bit of a bugger to get too!!!
