Rain shell

Post by bowewilson@gmail.com »

I am after some raingear, probably one peice, preferably Hi Viz, I notice a couple of you had them on your recent trip to the Gasgoyne Races.
I have one by RST which is at the end of its life but I can't seem to find another one to replace it, there are other brands but mostly black which I don't really want
Any thoughts?

Hello Bowe

BMW make the yellow ones, they are excellent value and easy to get on and off with all your gear on.

Hi Bowe,
I have a BMW glowinthedark one which, so far, has proved to be pretty good. They don't breath at all,so can get steamy, which isn't an issue in cooler weather, but may well be in summer rain. The only odd point I have found is that, in a waterproof suit, the only external pocket isn't waterproof. A pain if that is where you want to keep your phone or wallet.
Cheers,
Gav.
