Tuning Day Saturday 3rd October

Noel is going to be away, so the next Tuning Day is being held at my place. Address 2 Zinnia Way, Willetton. Near corner of Leach Hwy and Karel Avenue, easy access from freeway, Roe, leach etc. 12 midday to 5pm. Phone (only if you have to because I am pretty busy with lots of stuff) 0407 542440.

I don't have the club tools, but will update the software for the GS-911 so anyone wanting to plug in, come along. I have a range of standard tools, and may even be doing a service on my R1150GSA on the day. I also have the older diagnostic tool available. If for nothing else, come along to make it worth my while firing up the BBQ. I've finished my new garage, so plenty of room for tinkering.

I have updated the GS911 software, also updating the firmware in the tool. The software will be available on a notebook PC on Saturday, and also via my phone using the Blutooth features.

I will be doing a service on my R1150GSA if anyone wants to help me with that. Oils, plugs, filters, and perhaps even the rear paralever bearings....I still have bronze replacement bushings in place and have decided to put the roller bearings back in (new ones).

I'll come along to have a look at the GS service in particular the rear bearings.

Might even bring the starship along.
