Suggest a meetup at Mundaring Dome around 8:45 for 9:15 deparure. As its Swampy's week off current plan is to loopdown south via Talbot & Great Southern Highway.
Although open to suggestions on the day.

I will be departing Ascot Shell at 8:00 for the usual ride up Helena Valley to Mundaring.

Peter
I don't mind the rain but happy to change.
So now its the same departure time but on Friday.
For those that live south to save the trip up to Mundaring they could meet us in Brookton.

Meeting at the Dome was Brian, Peter, Bill, Steve, DFS, Swampy and Braam.
All departed together via The Lakes and down Talbot W Road. Swampy & Braam turn off via York with the majority heading south. Apparently Harry the homing Honda headed off to its second coop in Toodyay.
The destination was the Fortune French Hot Bread in Narrogin. The route down was fairly direct via Beverley, Brookton & Pingelly, only with a slight deviation out past the Beverley Airport.
The vast selection of pies, pasties and various cakes & pastries was a waste with most having salad roll or pizza bread roll.
Home was via Boddington, Dwellingup and Nth Dandalup. Peter & Bill carry on via the Sth Western Hwy. The remaining three carried on via Hopeland Rd.

It was good ride to blow the cobwebs out of the bike with great company.

Sounds like you a had a good ride today Brian and magnificent weather for it as well, Good to see Bill let off the leash to blow some cobwebs away!!

Braam is off to Rio for his son Alex's wedding on Monday so he decided to join me for a last blast on his beautiful BM before strapping on the seat belt for approx. 30 hours of travelling including stopovers to Brazil.

Brian's mob tagged along as far as West Talbot road before Braam and I opened up and left them in a cloud of gum leaves as we headed for York.

A spirited enjoyable ride was had along a mostly deserted road before coming into York, bypassing the town centre to take the back road to Northam once again skirting the town centre to take another back track to Toodyay where we both had to refuel due mainly to our fuel economy being made to suffer for some obscure reason??

We eventually rolled into Toodyay and spent a pleasant hour chatting over lunch before mounting up again to take Julimar road down to Bullsbrook before Braam headed North into sand dune country and home with me travelling South enjoying the cooler weather into the green belt arriving home around 1400hrs.

Fantastic weather for riding today in company with Braam on his 175HP BMW purring like the bike was meant to without raising a sweat!!

Enjoy your trip Braam but Rio's got a well earned reputation so don't forget to update your Will before flying out!!....Just to be sure you know 8)

I promise your bike will be in good hands mate

Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
