Fathers Day at Catalano's

Post by Swampy »

A small but lively crowd assembled at cat's this morning, shunning the forecast of wet miserable weather on what turned out to be a sunny break for a couple of hours while some even braved the elements to arrive on bikes  (Not Me!)

We welcomed Allan Findlay, a fine gentleman of Scottish descent on a nicely turned out 1600 who soon assimilated with the older club members, Welcome Allan!!

Great to see Brahm return on his bike after completing his second successful hip operation after a couple of months absence and "Young" Stoy made a return taking a welcome break from raising a know all teenage son on Fathers Day

Also Peter returned from his extended trip to Europe and after attending the mighty TT races on the Isle of Mann so there maybe a welcome return to organised mid week rides for the Pensioner/Layabouts in the club!! 8)

Expect to see a plethora of riders sporting new leather motorcycle jackets next week after someone purchased one from Aldi's for $189 yesterday and wore it this morning :P

Was rather disappointed at the non appearance of of Ross's (Scruff) near new "Black Beauty" RS which was more then compensated for by him bringing Bernadette down for breakfast!!

No Ride today but a good morning was had by all those that attended!!

Happy Fathers Day to all!!

Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

Swampy thanks for the welcome back and Fathers Day wishes. Happy Father’s Day to you and all others! I started on a solo ride today but the rain started before I got to the hills and didn’t look like stopping so I chickened out and headed for home. Oh well a better effort than none at all Ha Ha. Still great to be back on the RT. Yes Thursday Ride will be posted shortly, sorry you cannot make it, but someone has to keep the tax rolling in He He.
