Drew had an incident with his RNineT that included his discovery that his spoked tyres were tubed. He resolved that by ordering a very technical set of replacement rims where the spokes are retained on the exterior of the rim. They looked very smart.

Six riders and a pillion headed out to the German Car Day at Gingin. Not wanting to get caught up in a slow moving Germanic procession, the group travelled through the Bickley Valley on Repatriation Road, Patterson Road and on to Mundaring Weir Road. Brian/5's favourite deviation on Paulls Valley Road and Fern Road was thrown in to the route. Ted, Drew, Andrew + Ellie, Frank, JonO and Bozo then passed through Parkerville to get to O'Brien Road and the Lancewood Woops before descending to the Swan Valley for a stop at Gingers.
Drew reported grounding his centre stand on the run through the Bickley Valley and near Mundaring Weir. A quick inspection produced the crowd wisdom of surgery for the rubber stand stop. Mid way through the Chittering Valley run and after encountering an uncooperative Indian rider we got stuck in a kilometre long snake of slow moving German marques. Luckily we were able to detour on Blue Plains Road to get to Bindoon on uncongested roads. A quick run up Crest Hill Road and Moolabeenie Road got us to a refreshment break at the CU@ Cafe. A tour around the adjacent area was made to inspect the Porsches, Mercedes, BMWs and VWs.
A quick run home down Brand Highway and Tonkin Highway ended the ride. Thanks to JonO for running as tail end Charlie and Andrew for corner marking. Brilliant weather for a ride.
