Sorry Mark  B/5 (Still not riding),Rob (1200 GS) and Peter B at GJ’s. Down the Tonkin to Dome Kelmscott where Nannup Nick was patiently waiting. Thought a visit to Harvey was due so down the back roads to Pinjarra then SWH to Coolup and through the centre to Harvey. Farming action continuing with hay being bailed and stacked, with sheds overflowing.
Rob didn’t stay for lunch in Harvey, with just Nick and I to indulge in the goodies of the Harper St Bakery and Cafe. Hmmm very nice. Great to hear about Nick’s recent cruise.
Nick and I enjoyed the route down to Harvey so much we just reversed it on the return.
Thanks Rob for joining us and Nick for great company and TEC duties.
Whilst it was overcast, we had no rain and low twenties temps so a perfect touring day. Sorry the rest of you missed out

hi peter
nice to catch up again with you and nick. your chosen route down to harvey was perfect. lots of back roads, minimal traffic & great scenery. as you mentioned the weather was pretty close to perfect also, overcast & low temperature. I continued on and across the harvey dam onto gravel tracks and into the forest. where I stopped for lunch and also boiled up some water and had a nice cup of black tea. then continued on across to quindanning / boddington / mundaring / then home to city beach.
clocked up 480kms by the time i got home, a very enjoyable day in the saddle.
