A large turnout to view Peter Bee's new Blue 1250 RT with seven at Gloria Jeans and a dozen turning up at Mojo's. Brian/5 led the ride from Gloria Jeans to Mojos via the Mary Street variation with Peter Bee running as tail end Charlie (still cutting his tyres in with only 40km on the clock).
A lot of roof related discussion at Mojo's with Brian/5 lifting us out of the gutter talk and leading a convoluted ride through Hidden Valley, O'Brien Road, Lacewood Road, and Haddrill Road before doubling back on the Lancewood Road Woops to get to Gidgegannup. The short ride was in response to high forecast temperatures.

We gave Peter’s new bike a good run in with plenty of corners for the tyres and the woops for the suspension. Just to extend the rider I turned off O’Brien Rd to loop through the woops, down Campersic Rd before returning up into hills via Weir Rd, returning back through the woops again. A leg stretch at the Brock memorial before heading to Gidgegannup via Reen rd. Several riders had drop out along the way to head for home, but we still ended up with seven stopping for refreshments at the Bakery.

On departing Gidgee four riders followed Ross to Mundaring where the group split again. Due to the wet roads nearing Mundaring Peter may have a cleaning job to return his bike back to its pristine condition. B5 & Chris headed home via Mundaring Weir Road going through some rain approaching the weir. I carried on home via the zig zag, the shire being thoughtful in have all the corners swept so there no gravel on them.

The temperature in the hills made for a very pleasant ride, however not so comfortable down on the coastal plains. Considering the weather forecast it was great to see so many turn up.

Thanks all for your company & Peter for TEC.
