Nungarin Museum and Mt Marshall Show 15th - 16th March 2025
Join me for an overnight country adventure
Meet at Ampol Foodary Stratton (corner Toodyay road and Lewis Jones Cross) Saturday 15th March, 2025 at 8.30am, for an 8.45 launch.
We will head out via Goomalling, Wyalkatchem and onto Nungarin Museum (~300km) with a couple of breaks along the way. We will have lunch in Nungarin and visit The Museum which is home to a large amount of military and farming equipment and very worthy of an hour or so exploring the displays, before heading across to Bencubbin (~100km) for the Mount Marshall Show.
The Mount Marshall Show is excellent value, pay your entry fee and enjoy camping on the oval, with access to toilets and showers. There are typical agricultural displays, with food trucks, live music, Bar and fireworks to cap off a great day.
This will be a black top ride, suitable for all skill levels, camping is as soft as it gets – just need a tent, mattress and sleeping bag, no need for any cooking equipment.
There are Air BNB & accommodation options in close proximity.
Sunday morning, we head to the local Café for breakfast before heading back towards metro via Wongan Hills, Calingiri and Bindoon (~300km), returning to Metro area by early to mid afternoon.
