Nine riders met up at GJ for a ride up to Mojo’s, to be joined there by four more.
Going on Lefty’s suggestion last week the destination decided was the Puma Roadhouse at New Norcia.
To add a few curves before the straight sections we went out via Stoneville, Strawberry Hill and Brigadoon. Back to the curves in Bullsbrook by going up Yarrimbah and along Ashmere Dr. With a short comfort stop at Burley Park

Down from the hills to Muchea. A change in plans to shorten the trip by going through Bindoon via Gt.Northern Hwy, rather than Gingin. The trucks did not slow us down too much. Then a free run up through Mooliabeenee and Mogumber before turning into the Gillingarra New Norcia Road.

The shorter trip had the advantage that we arrived just before a TransWA bus, getting in our order before the others. A variety of lunches were had with no complains, both the staff and flies being very friendly

The ride home was a return leg through Mogumber. A pause in Wannamal to say our farewells with some electing to go home through Bindoon and others across towards Gingin.

My return pushed the old GS to its range limit. With the fuel gauge showing empty after 357kms, then running the last 14km on empty before refuelling.

Thanks Lefty for TEC – ideal riding weather with no rain.
