Russian back in town - Anton aka "The Russian Mohican"

Anton will be back in Perth this Thursday the 18th. He arrives at 10 PM on Wednesday. He will stay with me.

I am trying to arrange my Thursday to have time off to take him for a ride in the hills.

Questions - Is anyone else in a position to take him for a ride if I cannot. I think dirt would be preferred. Can we borrow another GS / dirt bike. If I don't go, my GS800 can be used.

Also a catch up for a beer Thursday night may be on the cards. His flight is 1 AM Friday. He needs to be at the airport at 10. PM. Watch this space.

PS: I did the newly cobbled together Koos Perf hills to York & back comprehensive loop today and was back in Sorrento just after 2 PM. Great ride with quite a few stops.

Hello Koos

If you were thinking of meeting somewhere Thursday evening - say Hillaries, I may be able to attend.

I am taking Anton into them Perf hills tomorrow afternoon around 2 PM for a quick trip around the weir; Mt Dale, then south and then west.

We will only be back at my place in Sorrento around 6 PM. So makes it a bit tight. Guess we will shower, some packing and could then head off around 7:30 earliest.

Best would be to stop off somewhere conveniently on the way to International around 8PM.

How about the Royal Tavern in East Perth? Pretty central and close to the freeway.

Let me know if anyone is interested, otherwise we won't rush.

Hello Koos

If he is flying out Thursday evening, would it be better if we meet at Airport for a coffee, that way you do not have to deviate or risk running late?

Just got back from a ride. Bit tight to do much, so we are going to have BBQ and will head to the airport about 8:30. Should be there around 9.

International departures there's a pub opposite the Dome.

Welcome to check with me [mobile number removed].

Anton liked it here so much with Koos and Martina he did not fly last night,he now flys tonight at 22.30 so he should be checking in at about 19.30 if you fancy a pint or coffee with him and Koos upstairs in the Airport. 8)

4/28/2012 I was hit by a car on the Moscow ring road. A complex fracture of the collarbone and three ribs. Now I have a metal collar bone. Today, he returned home from the hospital. My GSA requires replacement safety arcs, the other parts remain intact. On hand will be suspended for two months to go. C3 was wearing a helmet, suit Rally 3 Boots "Santyago." Too bad that the "Rally 3" does not protect the ribs. The rest - motorcycle clothing saved my life. Take care of yourself! For me, Moto season closes.

Sergey

Sorry to hear about your accident. Happy to hear your injuries weren't more serious and very good to see that you can still type and communicate with us.

I hope you get better soon and will be back on the bike.

We did enjoy the company of your friends and look forward to you visiting this beautiful country sometime.

All of the best.

Koos
