Ride Thursday 7th October
"I love a sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains.
Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

Re: Ride Thursday 7th October
With the fine weather the ombrophobes have surfaced. A large crowd at Mojos. It is getting to the stage we may need to move across to a larger table to fit the expanding numbers.
Four riders met up at Ascot to take a enjoyable run up to Mojo’s. Eleven riders & one pillion departed for a ride with the majority decision for Greenhills. The route out was the usual ratrun through Stoneville to Chidlow, then up Mayo to Toodyay Rd. A pause on Salt Plain Road caused Elsie to bolt taking two others in the direction of Cola Café.
The remaining eight carried on to Hoddy Well, Eadine, down Trimmer to Burges. Along Goldfields, Marwick, finally to Quairading -York. Arriving a bit before the lunch time opening gave a pleasant pause sitting out in the sun. The service under new management was just as good as the previous one.
The return journey was down to Beverley the back via Talbot to the Lakes, where riders dispersed to make their own way home. Thank you Peter for TEC keeping the pack together.

Yes David Brian did a great job leading us to the Greenhills Inne - thank you B5. Sitting out in the low heat sunshine was perfect. Great company, green countryside, sunshine, BMW’s purring who could ask for more
