A big mob at Catalanos and Dome today. Great to see Koos, who is over from the eastern states and Peter Bee who is back from a trip to the Mediterranean.
Despite the forecast, ten riders headed out into the hills to zig zag to Bakers Hill. Rod Rocket Peter, Phil, Nick, Sophie, R90sMark, David, Ted, AAA Anthony, Peter Bee and Bozo did the triple zigzag through the Bickley Valley before Zagging onto the section of Aldersyde Road on the north side of Mundaring Weir Road. Apparently to Zig means moving to the right and to Zag means moving to the left. Tail end Charlie must have Zigged when he should have Zagged because we lost him. Fortunately, the system of lost points and with help from Nick in leading the mob temporarily, we were back as a group in Mundaring. Despite close attention of vehicles cutting across riders bows we safely made it to the Lakes.
A change of plan involved Zagging off Great Eastern Highway to Zag on Bailup Road and Zig on Burma Road before Zigging on Inkpen Road and Zagging on Oyston. Another Zag on Swamp Road got us to Bakers Hill where the Zig Zag accountants determined that we had Zigged more than we had Zagged. To remedy this, we Zagged on Clackline - Toodyay Road and Zagged on Hoddy Well Road and Zagged on Salt Valley Road before Zigging onto Fernie Road.
A transit on Toodyay Road got us to a Zag on Bunning Road, a Zig on Kingston Road and a Zag on Anketell Road and a Zig on Prosperity Road. The ride ended just short of Mundaring with Zigs and Zags close to balance.
Thanks to Peter Bee for putting in a few more Zigs and Zags to locate lost riders as tail end Charlie and for Nick for assisting in bringing the ride back together. A great day out with a few spontaneous ride changes not making it easy for the tail end Charlie.

Re: Zig Zagging to Bakers Hill
Thanks Chris for a very interesting rework of previous rides. Great to be back on two wheels.
