Fascinating catch up at Dome Byford for the Thursday BMW riders with a record 14 turning up. They included David P, back from his bike ride to the eastern states, DFS back from his global journeying and heading for a bike ride to Everest Base Camp, MMMark with a bug eye Triumph Triple and Cheeky Steve from Brigadoon on his first club country ride. The mob headed to Harvey. – copied from Chris’s Facebook Post.

Nine riders decide to join the group for a ride. This time we went via Dwellingup and Naga Brook. I was initially worried as at the turn off to Nanga Road as there was a notice that the Nanga Bridge was closed for traffic. We continued on as it was pleasant ride down Nanga Rd towards the bridge, expecting to return back to Dwellingup. The deviation around the bridge turned out to be a very enjoyable variation. Through the park along River Road, Bobs Crossing and then Murray Vly Road, before returning to Nanga Road.

Heading down Nanga Brook Rd several decided to blow out the cobwebs passing the main group. We carried on skirting the edge of Waroona along Hill St to have a brief stop at the picnic area of the Drakesbrook Weir ( Lake Moyanup ).
Then it was down the S.Western Hwy to the Harper St Bakery & Café in Harvey. After a slight delay the wayward two finally turn up to join us for lunch.

The return home were via the back roads to the Old Bunbury Rd, then through Pinjarra deviating via Hopeland Rd, with riders peeling off for their own way home.

Thanks, Peter for keeping the crew together and the rest for your enjoyable company.
Another day of ideal riding weather, and once on the open roads very little traffic.
