Booting it to Bindoon Bakehaus

Post by Bozo »

Strong turnout at Dome Vic Park on Sunday morning with 39 bikes and over 45 people. Fantastic for Noel to be able to attend and be well on the road to recovery. A byproduct of the fund raising for the Flying Doctor was the blue highlighted boot purchase by Peter Bee that pervaded the rest of the Sunday ride to Bindoon.

Sixteen riders banded together for a Brigadoon- Bullsbrook- Blue Plains- Bindoon bash. Stubby, Lefty, Matt, Mick S, David P, Wightman, Gerry, MD Mike, R90S Mark, Multi Media Mark, Nev, Steve, Ralph, Navigator Nick, Peter Bee and Bozo. Picture of ride departure courtesy Wightman.

A light sprinkle greeted the group as we passed the airport but fortunately it was clear for the rest of the ride including the Haddrill Road twisties. The group got separated at Bullsbrook with most being able to regather at Bonita Road and the dead straight rider rejoining us at Bindoon.

A contented calm descended over the group as pastries were consumed at the Bindoon Bakehaus.

The return run was through the Chittering Valley. An excellent day out thanks to the skills of tail end Charlie, Peter Bee and a flexible group. Great to see new faces of Stubby and Matt.

Another great ride thanks Bozo. Thanks again to Swampy and Peter W for their very generous donations of riding gear to assist the Flying Doctor, of which I indulged myself with new bike matching boots - cool
