With heavy rain forecast for the morning it will be a decision on the day if I am going to Gloria Jean and on to Mojos.
If mad enough will be the usual times with 7:30 with planned departure Ascot.

Most rain overnight, not too bad by 8:00am according to BoM. I'll head on up and check again as 9:00 rolls around.

Re: Thursday 18th July MOJOS MUNDARING - Doubtful
The threat of rain scared all but Nick who was waiting for me in Mundaring. His prediction for the morning weather was spot on.
A solo run up to Mojo’s skirting the edge of a rain front so only very light showers.
The run out from Mundaring was out via Beechina, Lindley Valley, scaring a few kangaroos on Harper Rd. Then down Bailup, a loop into Morangup and Salt Valley. There was 100mm of water flowing across the ford on Lovers Lane.
Nicks prediction of rain on they way home turn out to be almost a non-event.
After lunch at the Toodyay Bakery the route home was via Katrine to enter the GEHwy from Irishtown Rd and then a direct run home. It was fine until Mundaring and the it was only light showers. It was the road spray on the visor that was most bothersome.
Thanks, Nick, for an enjoyable days riding.

A great ride with a couple of interesting diversions and alternate paths through the countryside.
Its very green out there folks, as a couple of kangaroos reminded Brian by trying to hitch a ride
.
Thank you to Brian for a nice job leading, all done without gps!

Brian/5 and Nick
Well done. Almost got there but suffered an overdose of sport the night before.
