Going Loopy

An excellent turnout on Sunday for the reopening of Dome as Diverso. Great to see Jamie over from NSW and Pete 2 Volts turning up on his R100/7. Jamie and Pete Two Volts.

Nine riders and a pillion rolled the dice to see if they could miss the scattered showers by sky watching and BOM on a loop filled journey to Bindoon Bakehaus. Gerry, Brian/5, Wightman, Navigator Nick, Andrew and Ellie, Mick S, Ralph, R90s Mark and Bozo took the first loop on Haddrill and Campersic Roads only to be greeted by two high wide loads making their way on Great Northern Highway. Wightman corner marking at Gingers for the group separated by the high wide loads.

The next loop was Chardonnay Drive and Hakea Pass to get to Powderbark Road in Lower Chittering followed by the Maddern South Road Wisteria Way Loop. After Blue Plains Road and Chittering Road we looped on Hart Drive followed by a loop on Forrest Hills Parade. We had lost Brian/5 and Navigator Nick but were joined at Bindoon Bakehaus by David P and JC. Bindoon Bakehaus missing Mick S, Andrew and Wightman.

Two loops were completed on the way home - Morley Road, Jenkins Road and Ashmere Drive before connecting to Meadowbank Ramble, Fraser Road and Smith Road.
We got a bit wet around Brigadoon but that was more than offset by the glorious riding conditions on the way home. Good to try some new roads in a the well traversed motorcycle run between Perth and Bindoon.
Thanks to R90S Mark for running as tail end Charlie and a group that were happy to risk dead end roads.
