Wow the weather was far better than expected. Only had 4 or 5 drops on the windscreen all day.
7 riders at Gloria Jeans with B/5 taking the lead through a new subdivision in Bushmead to finally arrive at Mojos. 11 riders at Mojos with 8 participating in a short jaunt to our destination Goomalling Lot 39 Store and Café.
Left Mundaring and passed through Parkerville with at least 12 kangaroos in one paddock safely behind a fence. Onto our favourite O’Brien and Berry roads to exit onto the Toodyay Rd taking the turn at Fernie for the Salt Valley and Sandplain route to pass the Racecourse and head towards Goomalling on the outskirts of Toodyay.
Pleasant run through the now greening paddocks to Goomalling. Great location out the back of the café to participate in meanless banter whilst quaffing the tasty food and drinks.
Ralph was gently arm twisted into leading the way home down the Northam Rd turning at Jennapullin Rd to see the wire mesh Clydesdale horse statue then turning at Southern Brook to head into the outskirts of Northam and head towards Toodyay via Katrine Rd.
The group split outside Toodyay with 5 heading back down Toodyay Rd taking Bailey Rd to run through Wooroloo, Sawyers Valley etc.
Thanks to B/5 and Ralph for leading and David P for magnificent TEC action. It is clearly noticed that the whole group has taken to looking out for the rider behind allowing less action for the lead with not having to mark every corner and flowing the ride nicely. Well done guys.
