was a glorious sunshine day with a group of 8 departing mojos for a meandering loop with our 1st stop at the York look out. surprisingly there were 2 riders who have never been up there before. the reduced group of 7 then whipped across to Meckering and then stopping in Dowerin for lunch. next stop was Goomalling for a top up of 98 octane and then heading towards Toodyay with a sideways detour across to the top of Katrine Road and following the river all the way into Toodyay. the reduced group of 5 then headed down Julimar road, chittering valley and finally onto the ever-boring Tonkin highway back into civilisation. the weather was perfect with mostly clear skies and max temp 29c, plenty of flies and bugs to deal with and multiple helmet visor cleans required. a most enjoyable day out in the saddle and the corner marking by everyone was pin perfect ‘thank you’. special thanks to mick for tec duties. my ride distance was 490kms door to door.
