Competition for Swampy

Wes, Dinga and Bozo and their bikes emerged freshly washed after a ride to Toodyay today.
Wes was keen to see if his Spot tracker was waterproof and Dinga wanted to practice riding in the conditions he expected on the New England Highway so the trio set off into the cold, misty rainy morning.
As with most Bozo excursions there were cyclists scattered along the Mundaring Weir Road. The rain eased for the trio to enjoy the corners on the winding Liberton and Mayo Roads. Two slow moving mini mokes hindered the group on Toodyay Road but there was little traffic on the alternative approach to Toodyay along Sandplain Road.
A coffee at the motor cycle friendly Coca Cola Café then the Toodyay-Clackline Road, Coates Road, Werribee Road and Parkerville on the way home. The sun came out just in time for us to wish we had started the journey three hours later.
The persistent rain, mist and fog gave our bikes and riding gear a good wash putting Swampy out of a job for a few weeks.
