I think we should all have recovered from our Nannup Excursion. So with fine but cool weather forecast it’s back to standard 7:45 departure from Ascot Shell, let’s now be more accurate and call it Ascot Gloria Jean’s, to travel to MOJOS MUNDARING for a 9:15 ish departure. Note MOJOS MUNDARING now opens at 8:00 which should be OK as it gives 1.25 hours to feed and/or drink.
So see youall there :P

I'll see you all there, but won't be riding. Have some fire brigade stuff to attend to.

A fine, cool and windy day for today’s ride. Brian, Peter and Anthony started out from Ascot Gloria Jeans to meet up with Wes, Ros & Chris at Mojo’s.
After the usual banter four of us left for Goomalling with Brian in the lead and Peter as TEC. Ross & Wes unable to join us as they had other commitments.

The exit out was via the usual rat-run to Bakers Hill and onto Clackline, then via Spencers Brook, Burges, Quellington, Meckering and finally on to Lot 39 Store & Cafe in Goomalling.

We all had a very pleasant lunch sitting out the back in the sun. Some of the discussion was about the cakes ordered by Chris & Anthony, both being a meal on their own due to their size.

The ride home was down the Calingiri-Goomalling road turning off to Irish Town to enjoy the curves along Katrine before dispersing to head for home.
Chris & Anthony opting to go directly down Toodyay road. Peter & Brian deviating down Salt Valley Road only to catch-up with Anthony at Nobel Falls.

A very comfortable ride with little traffic or road work, none of it distracting from the enjoyment.

Thank guys for your company.
Brian

Thanks Brain for the lead and ride write up. Yes a very enjoyable sojourn into the country side through classic Wheatbelt scenery. Beautiful Autumn weather, with great company, food and drinks, with the Beemers purring. Who could ask for more????
