Ralph, MMMark and B/5 joined me at Gloria Jeans for an incident free run up to Mojos apart from a large kangaroo seen up close by B/5 on Clayton Rd Boya. We have seen him before - a big bugger! Thanks B/5 for TEC duties up to Mojos and sorting out Skippy
Mick, Steve, David and newby Lou (1250RS) joined us at Mojos. Weather fine ranging between 13 and 17 degrees C.
Decided to try out the newly surfaced Julimar Rd to reach our destination of the Bindoon Bakehaus.
Seven of us, minus MMMark, left Mojos and headed through the backroads of Mundaring and Parkerville, across Toodyay Rd and O’Brien, Clenton, Copley Dale and Berry back to Toodyay Rd. Glided along Salt Valley, Sandplain, Stirlingia and Racecourse to descend into Toodyay.
Stopped at the Toodyay Lookout with sunshine and 20 degrees C before finding Julimar Rd, Timberton Drive, Julimar, Chittering Rd, GNH and into the Bindoon Bakehaus around midday. Sunshine 23 degrees C. Sweet!
Always great food and drinks, with no other motorcycles except the fabulous seven. Thanks to “see the light Mick” for Stirling TEC duties.
Ralph lead us home via the elevated view of Bindoon, GNH, Chittering Rd, Blue Plain, Maddern Sth, GNH and Tonkin. Thanks Ralph.
Home before 2pm with no rain until 3:30pm. 260km of pleasant fine weather Winter riding. Thanks to all for a great day.
