Fuel Consumption
One hears a lot of comment about fuel consumption and the difference on the grades of petrol.
As I have been recording my refills I realized that the actual RON value in the tank could be calculated.
From what I read it’s a simple ratio so half a tank of 91, filled with 95 then effectively you are running on 93.
Also I have recorded when it was not a full tank refill so consumptions that are not valid has been omitted

One observation is that the indicated consumption is usually lower by 6 – 10 %
as the actual full tank consumption as its averaging time is shorter.
