Re: Dinga's Walpole Ride: Nov 21-23 2025
Thanks to Dinga for putting together a fantastic 3 days away to Walpole.
The WOW Eco Tour was definitely worth the effort. Something to recommend to your tourists when they visit.
Perfect weather on Friday for the southern ride.
Mostly good weather on Saturday. The rain came down on Saturday night. Locals reported 43mm overnight.
BOM lied to us. The radar said the rain would clear up by 8.30am for the Sunday return ride north.
The rain was unrelenting. It did however remind me to slow down and enjoy the magnificent big trees we are lucky enough to have in our glorious South West corner of Western Australia.
Thanks to Jono and Ralph for the joint navigation off the beaten highways on the return leg. A much slower pace, and amazingly picturesque.
