I have received my second set of R100 heads back for valve hardening, from Ray Peake in QLD. I was unaware of the amount of work that they required. He doesn't miss a thing, he helecoiled the worn centre threads, resurfaced both head faces, repaired the worn thread on one exhaust flange, supplying a new flange nut, as well as hardening & sorting out the valves. They came back looking like straight out of the factory, I was happy with the $1,300 cost, for all that he did to restore my 30 plus year old heads.
Just a note for those who are not aware, Ray would be a major Airhead guru within Aust, especially when it comes to head reconditioning.

I've seen quite a few 50+ year old heads around here that would benefit from some reconditioning....
