Do you pull in at 2pm to get the best spot then spend the rest of the day yarning about when you camped here last year and the price of diesel?
If you do then you can't come.
Very astute question Kev... voice of experience maybe???

Nup. In true adv rider style, I drive till near dusk & find some track off the hwy to get out of sight. Then let the solar charged batteries run the appliances keep me in fine style. Sometimes I might tune in the sat tv if Fri night footy is on. Sheer lookshury.
Shane your not a grey nomad, your a bald nomad...hahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

One thing we have to think about is "One Day Kev", has anyone put the Ambulance service on standby??
Alerted the Flying Doctor?
Do we have a recovery truck fueled up and ready to go??
Kev is your insurance up to date??
If you fall off this time Kev, I WILL hit you on the head with a rock.

Hi Ruth,

Thanks again for the offer. Yes - please PM me details of directions to get to your place. I'm curious - are you on a farm or semi-rural block? Would a campfire be possible?

Early Nov I'll email the camping options to the ride group & get a consensus on where we'll stop on night 1. I lean towards your place because the Galena Bridge roadside stop can get a little crowded, but as I say, group consensus will be the decider.

Cheers
Shane

Any more takers?

So far we've got 12 for whole ride + 1 for the road leg on day 1 (Sunday 15th).

Night 2 will now be a mystery location (very remote of course) where, if all plans come together, we'll be enjoying a place to swim, cold beer and roast goat - howzat :P . Surely that'll tempt some of you fence sitters.

Pls let me know - but the earlier the better thanks.
