WEEKEND RIDE PLANED TO GO TO DUMBLEYUNG ....booked 23rd May

I am thinking of doing a pillion ride to Dumbleyung over a weekend in the near future.
Dumbleyung is famous for Donald Campbell's water speed record and his subsequent death. It would be a great ride destination and the newly reopened tavern sounds like a great overnighter and hosts 12 rooms.
Is there any interest from club members as I reckon it would be a great W/E club ride. If you are interested let me know and I will organise a date for the ride....

Great idea, I'm in as long as its not May (we will be overseas). Maybe Goldie can come along and smash some VW bonnets into shape, so we can ride our bikes like jetskis, a la Donald Campbell style

Looks like a bit of interest in this W/E ride and stay at Dumbleyung. 23rd of May suits us.
Rang the Tavern and at this stage regarding accomd on Sat 23d May [there are only another 6 rooms available
The owner said she can hold these rooms till Saturday morning as there is another group holding an engagement party and some of the guests of this function will probably require rooms. So if you want a room phone Kaye on 0418927154 or 0868634817.
If you want to camp out or hire an on site van try the caravan park down the road so accommodation shouldn't be a problem
Let me know who is going. We will try and organise a group dinner booking
